Wilfred "John" Bartlett

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family and friends at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, September 6, 2010, at the age 59. Predeceased by his parents James and Blanche Bartlett. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 37 years, Sylvia; son Michael (Bridgette); two grandchildren: Caroline and Peter; sister Mary (Lorne) Taylor; sister-in-law Sandra Taylor; brother-in-law Robert (Irene) Taylor; nephews: Lorne (Florence) Taylor, Robert (Trish) Taylor; niece Deborah (Craig) Legault; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Also missed by his little Yorkipoo "Sophie". Special thanks to the staffs at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic and 5 North A of Health Sciences Complex for their kind care and attention. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mt. Pearl, with visitation on Wednesday, September 8th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 9th, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at the Parish of the Ascension on Friday, September 10th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, South River at 2 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Parish of the Ascension Building Fund or to the MUN Physics Department.
