At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Thursday, September 9, 2010, of Deborah Carol Anne Kemp Johnston of Lower Montague, age 60 years.
"God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me". With tearful eyes I watched and saw you pass away. Although I love you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating and hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the BEST!"
Beloved companion of David Jenkins. Daughter of Carrie (Creed) and the late Bryce Kemp. Loving mother of Tammy Martin (Peter), New Glasgow, N.S.; and Anita MacFadyen, Alberta. Devoted grandmother of Taylor and Courtney Martin and Matthew and Samantha MacFadyen. Dear sister of Roy (Anne), Billy (Jean), Jackie, Kenny (Marcel), David, Betty (Martin) McNally, Laverne MacDonald, Isabell (Doug) MacEachern and Helen (Doug) Stewart. Predeceased by brother, Kevin.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Sturgeon Baptist Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday from 2-5 p.m. only.
