GLEESON, William H. (Bill) - Second World War Veteran. Passed peacefully away at the George Derby Centre, Vancouver, B.C., on Saturday, September 4, 2010, age 89. Predeceased by his mother Nora; father Richard; six brothers; one sister. Survived by his wife Jeannine; his daughter Patricia (Derek Tinny); grandchildren: Cole and Ria, all of Vancouver; three sisters: Nora (George Hutchings), Helen (Herb Smith, deceased) of CBS, Lucy (John Nickerson) of Poland, Maine. Funeral in Victoria, B.C. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Mass at St. Thomas of Villa Nova Parish on October 9 at 5 p.m.
