Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, Mr. William Thomas Johnston, age 77 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Marjorie; two sons, Edward (Rhonda) at Harbour Breton and Thomas (Penny) at CBS; one daughter, Angie Tibbo (Wade) at Harbour Breton; four grandchildren, Marsha, Gina, Lorna and Allison; four great grandchildren, Ethan, Mia, Jorja and Olivia; two brothers, Kyran (Rose) at Sop's Arm and Fred (Wendy) at Western Shore, NS, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, William and Martha; brothers, Felix, Lawrence and Leo; sisters, Angela, Rita and Elizabeth; and daughter in law, Dorothy. Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 2:30 pm from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Tom officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Harbour Breton.
