Howard Townshend passed away September 19 in Toronto at age 93. Retired marine engineer, formerly of the northeast coast of England, Saint John N.B., and Ottawa. Predeceased by wife Allister and infant daughter Star. He will be missed by son Roger, daughter-in-law Cindy and granddaughters Esther and Alyssa. We will remember his passion for peace and justice, his fierce independence of thought, and his unfailing courtesy.
