Lepper, Mary C. "Meme" - 86, Bible Hill and formerly of Tatamagouche, passed away October 2, 2010 at Vimy Court in Bible Hill. Born in New Annan, she was a daughter of the late Erwin K. and J. Marian (Matheson) Carroll. She was a proud mother and is survived by 6 children; Joan (John) Matheson, Toronto; Johnnie (Judy), New Annan; Donald (Verna), Valley, Colchester County; Betty (Donnie) Matheson, Denmark; Wanda (Eric) Cameron, Malagash; David (Patti), Amherst. Cherished grandmother of 12; great grandmother of 9; her two best friends and sisters, Norma Swan, Dartmouth; Shirley (Merv) Ferguson, Belmont; sisters-in-law, Doris (Neil) Lepper-Murray, Moncton and Marilyn Carroll, Truro; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Lepper in 1976; two sons, Douglas and Gregory; two grandsons, Jason and Brent; brothers, Douglas, Jack and Jimmy. Mum always enjoyed her many friends, knitting, and in her later years taking a "flip" through the village in her little white car. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, October 6 in Coulter's Funeral Home (657-3288) 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 7 in West New Annan United Church, Rev. Morley Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Bell Gift Cemetery. Family flowers only.
