It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Leslie Hall in an automobile accident on October 2, 2010 at the age of 53 years.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband of five years, Edwin and her son, Kelly Myre, her parents Walter and Barbara Dore of White Rock, BC, her sisters: Kathryn Dore-Hall (Donald Hall) of White Rock, BC and Heather Dore (Geoff Grognet) of Sechelt, BC, brothers: Philip Dore of White Rock, BC and Michael (Valarie) Dore of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends from coast to coast in both Canada and the United States.

Leslie earned a degree in Psychology with Great Distinction from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. She was a Big Sister with the Chatham-Kent Big Sisters Association in Ontario and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, as well as a proud Torch Bearer for the Olympic Games in Calgary (1988) and in Vancouver (2010).

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Leslie's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way, Kamloops. Royal Inland Hospital Chaplain Viktor Gundel will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leslie may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation at 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 or to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home at 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
