Harold Fraser

Harold Leslie Fraser, with his wife at his side, passed away at home on Friday, October 8th after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 68. Leslie will always be loved and remembered by his loving wife of 44 years, Marina; his daughter, Shelley (William) Arsenault of Dartmouth, NS and his son, Tim (Shirley) Fraser of Rothesay, NB; by his brothers, Sam (Anna) Fraser of Chipman, Neil Fraser of Saint John, David (Jane) Fraser of Rothesay; by sister Barbara (Corbet) Corey of Chipman; by grandchildren, Paige, Ethan and William Fraser; and by several nieces and nephews. Leslie was predeceased by his parents Milton and Helen (Hare) Fraser; brother, Allison Fraser and sisters, Dorothy Hay, Doris Murray and Joan Chevarie. Leslie worked for Irving Oil Limited for 40 years where he met many lasting friends. You could always count on Les to play a game of cards or share a glass of wine. He loved listening to music, shopping, cooking, baking, gardening, spending time at the camp, and being a "Grampie". These things brought him great joy and happiness.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Brenan's Bay View Select Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB on Tuesday, October 12th from 7 to 9 pm and at the Chipman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Thursday, October 14th at 2pm with Pastor David Egers officiating. Interment will be in the Second Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
