With much sorrow we announce the passing of Arne on Tuesday, October 7, 2010 at his home in Victoria, British Columbia.

Devoted husband of the late Edith Larsen. Dearest Father of Jan Larsen, Lisbeth Larsen, Kirsten Pedersen, and Michael Larsen. Loving Grandfather of the late Matthew Veness, Amy Veness, Andrew Veness, Kimberly Veness, Karly Pedersen, Kurtis Pedersen, and Kiel Pedersen.

Arne was born in Oester Hjerm, Denmark and married Edith Christiansen in 1956 and immigrated to Canada the same year. He worked for Dawson Construction for 33 years and resided in various parts of British Columbia during that time, and finally settled in Victoria, British Columbia during his retirement years. He was a dedicated member of his Church and committed to several local organizations, social clubs, family and friends.

A Celebration of Arne's life will be held on Thursday, October 14th, at Victoria Pacific Rim Alliance Church, 1792 Townley Street, Victoria, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice.
