1933-2010 - REXTON, NB - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Bruce Hunter, 77 years who passed away at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital on October 14th, 2010. Born in Kent Junction, he was the son of the late Mearl and the late Beatrice (Warman) Hunter. Bruce was an avid woodworker. Bruce will be sadly missed by two sisters; Gladys Ward (late Vincent) of Harcourt, and Alma Beers (late John) of Emerson, two brothers; Arland Hunter (Doris) of Plaster Rock, Ralph Hunter (Ingred) of East Millenocket, Maine, sister-in-law; Kaye Hunter, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bruce will also be sadly missed by the staff at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, where he resided for the past six years. Other than by his parents, Bruce is predeceased by his sister; Jean Lawson, and three brothers; Glenn, Burt, and Bob.
Resting at the Grangeville Baptist Church, Grangeville with visitation on Monday from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Tuesday from 1:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19th 2010, at 2:00 pm, Grangeville Baptist Church, Grangeville followed by a committal at the Harcourt United Cemetery, Harcourt with Reverend Paul Leger officiating. If so desired, donations to the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, Harcourt Joint Cemetery Fund, Grangeville Cemetery Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
