Born in Grahams Road, Aug. 21, 1924 daughter of the late Bert and Elva (Bernard) MacKay. Wife of the late Fred M. Bernard. Mother of Gordon (Florence), Cornwall; Ivan (Reta), French River and Lowell (Cathie), Charlottetown. Grandmother of Kim (Karl) Jollimore, Michael (Leanne), Valerie, Adam (Laurel Casey) and Chris Bernard. Great grandmother of Baylee and Logan Jollimore and Jacob Bernard. Sister of Miriam (late Harold) Bernard, Clinton; Mary (late Earle) Campbell, Grahams Road; Laura (Duncan) Cole, Grahams Road. Sister-in-law of Jean Bernard, Las Vegas, Nevada. Predeceased by her grandson David Bernard, brother-in-law Walter Bernard and sisters-in-law Charlotte (late Halsey) Profitt and Myrtle (late James) Cole. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
