Passed away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 10, 2010, after a long struggle with illness, Mr. Irving Dyson, of Goose Bay, formerly of Cartwright, in his 63rd year. Irving leaves with a lifetime of memories his children Marcus William (Lori-Anne), Elizabeth Ann Moss (Colin), Nellie Green (Dallas Pardy) and Olive Williams; his siblings Donald Dyson (Theresa), and Mary Jane Dyson (Ronald Lethbridge), as well as Helen Dyson (former wife), and a large extended family and many dear friends. Irving was predeceased by his siblings Calvin Dyson (Lavenia Dyson-Burkhart), Joshua Dyson, Herman Dyson and his Grandson Leon Dyson. Visitation was held at the funeral home, the funeral took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony on Friday, Oct. 15 with Rev. Ralph Moore and Lay Minister Robert Mesher officiating. Burial followed in the St. Anthony Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
