It is with sadness that the families of the late Patrick Francis Flood announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 85. Patrick is predeceased by his wife, Bridget; parents, Edward & Ida Flood; brothers, John, George, Alphonsus, & Thomas; sisters, Agnes, and Rose. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons, Patrick of Manitoba, Paul (Mary) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL , James (Della) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Desmond (Brenda) of Alberta, Kenneth (Trudy) of Alberta; daughters, Karen (George) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Cheryl (Allan)of Manitoba, Glenda (Donald), Elaine (Robert), & Janet (Kevin) of Grand Falls-Windsor; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Edward; sisters, Clara, Madeline, Margaret; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11 am from Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish with Father William Hearn officiating. The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Visitation will take place Thursday 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are: children, Paul, Desmond, Kenneth, James, Janet & Cheryl. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
