The death occurred in Cornwall, P.E.I., on Thursday, November 4, 2010, of Wayne Larkin of Cornwall, age 48.
Wayne was the beloved husband of Donna Matheson and the son of Mel and Colleen Larkin, Charlottetown. Also left to mourn are sisters, Eileen, Brenda (Robbie) Hicken and Michelle (David) Westaway; stepchildren, Carrie and Belinda; stepgrandchildren, Tristan, Kristen, Megan, Drew, Rowan and Carion; nieces and nephews, Ali, Ben, Drew, Zoë, Kyle, Jessica, Robert, Gillian and Jake; grand-nephew, Nathan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wayne was predeceased by his grandparents, Morton and Aletha Larkin and Wilfred and Eileen McAleer.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, November 7, 2010, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Monday, November 8, at 11:15 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Addiction Centre would be appreciated.
