DAVIS, Earle Lester, 77, Surf Lodge Nursing Home, Lockeport, formerly of Shelburne, passed away in Roseway Hospital on Friday, October 29, 2010. Born in Shelburne he was a son of the late Walter and Pearl (Wilson) Davis. Earle worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a man of great integrity and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by sons, Richard (Patricia), Jordan Branch; Tommy (Bridget) Jacklyn; daughters, Sandra (Paul) Blades, Halifax; Andrea (Tony), Ont.; Karen Davis, Shelburne; Kelly Davis (Wendell), Ingomar; brothers, Wallace (Barbara); Leroy, Shelburne; Francis (Girlie), Yarmouth; Gordon; sisters, Margaret (Jerry) Hemeon, Sandy Point; Rose Hersey, Shelburne; Lila, Ont.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as ex-wives, Beatrice Davis and Betty Faye. He was predeceased by infant son, Edward; daughter, Deborah May; brothers, Ronnie, John and Billy; sister, Betty. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 2 from H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home.
