June 26, 1929 ~ November 5, 2010

Tony passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.

Tony was predeceased by son Gregory Volk.
He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Lucille, son Rodney, daughters Patricia and Barbara, sons Lindsay, Brian (Monique) and Bradley (Tina) as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Tony was born in Schuler, Alberta but spent the majority of his life in Kamloops. Tony excelled at whatever work he did which ranged from farming, painting and sales at Sears where he happily gave many years of service to all of his customers. In retirement, Tony and his loving wife Lucille spent many hours handcrafting donations for the less fortunate. Tony's pride and joy was his wife and family. He would go without so he could provide for those he loved. He had a great sense of humor, was a practical joker, loved to get his hands dirty in his garden, but most importantly he was a great husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa who everyone could look up to and admire.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral (255 Nicola Street) in Kamloops on Saturday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a light luncheon for those who wish to visit with the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tony's honour to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C.
