It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one, Arnold Henry Kirshfelt on November 13, 2010, with family by his side at Parkview Place, Enderby, BC.

Arnold was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Lena, grandson Trent Huls, son Brian, Wife Adelia (nee Gibbs), son-in-law Wayne Huls, and sister Irene.

Arnold is survived by his sister Ellen Carver; his daughters Karen Huls, Deedee (Bart) Jones, Debbie (Wayne) Kirshfelt; his daughter-in-law Nancy Kirshfelt; his grandchildren Wanda (Jim), Morgan (Scott), Troy, Monique, Ashley (Ben), Savanna (Dan), Courtney (Josh), Riley, Candance, Donavin, Elliot (Lisa), Faybrien (Matt), Tanya (Jason), Dolena (Shaun), Tammy, Bobbie (Roger), Kerri (Tom), Jessie; his great-grandchildren Aleshia, Melissa, Shaili, Kole, Tricia, Jade, Navi, Sienna, Matthew; and several friends.

Born in Mara on December 5, 1928, Arnold grew up on the family farm. He went on to pursue many careers in his life time: logging, sawmill owner, prospector, miner, real estate agent, heavy equipment operator, road builder, business man, Cabaret owner, farmer, and promoter of health. Above all else, he was a Dreamer!

Devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Arnold touched many lives in many ways.

Service will be at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (3745 Patten Drive, Armstrong, BC) at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010. Reception to follow.
Interment at the Mara Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Great thanks to the Parkview Place staff, Dr. Scott, family, and friends.

Donations in memory of Arnold can be made to "Coronary Health Improvement Project", his 20 year passion for promoting optimal health, c/o Seventh Day Adventist Church (3745 Patten Drive, Armstrong, BC V0E 1B2).
