June 21, 1950 - November 25, 2010 - The family of Patrick G. Cook sadly announces his passing. Pat was born to the late Anna Mae (Moran) and the late Joseph E. Cook. Pat faced a lengthy battle with Metastatic Cancer with willpower and determination only to loose his fight on November 25, 2010 at the age of 60. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Pat was a former long time employee of Ben's Bakeries. He enjoyed spending time at Cook's Cabin and working on his woodlot. He also enjoyed coaching minor baseball, was a devoted Habs fan and was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR. He will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara (McLaughlin), his three daughters; Marlene Handrahan (Sean) of Miramichi, Judy L'Huillier (Donnie) of Bellefond and Melanie Cook (Jason Foran) of St. Margaret's, one son; Gregory Cook of Redmondville, Three grandchildren; Jenna & Shauna Handrahan, Jordan L'Huillier, one brother William Cook (Jackie) of Redmondville, one sister Doreen O'Connor of Ontario, one aunt; Gertie Renfrew (Joe Richard) along with several nieces and nephews.
Patrick G. Cook is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11am from St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church with Fr John Fraser officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the St Margaret's Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
