HOGAN, Marilyn Ruby (Davis) - of Quispamsis, NB (born in Carbonear, NL) passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010, at the age of 54. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Melissa of St. John's, NL; her mother, Florence (Homer) Davis of Carbonear, NL; brothers and sisters, Jim, Rob, Gary, Brenda, Heather, Greg, Wendy and Suzette; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Jim Davis. Marilyn worked for 34 years with Community Mental Health in Saint John. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick R.C. Church, Carbonear, on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a Charity of one's choice.
