Fern Seel passed away quietly in Regina on December 4, 2010. She was predeceased by her son, Rocky, and is survived by her husband, George and her daughter, Shelby (Ken) Love. Fern was a champion curler, and also enjoyed duplicate bridge and golf. She was a fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Blue Jays. The family gives its thanks to the staff and doctors on Unit 3F of the Regina General Hospital who made her final days peaceful. Thanks also to her sister, Delia (Frank) Pavlick and their family in Red Deer for their support. There will be no funeral service at Fern's request. An informal tea will be held at Minto United Church from 2-4 on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010. In lieu of flowers, Fern requested that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Fund on her behalf.
