Peacefully at Sakura House, on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010. Eva Anne Birch (nee Arsenault) of Woodstock at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Reg Birch for over 46 years. Dear mother of Rick (Debbie), Rodney (Christie) Birch, and Chris (Dave) Bergman all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Travis and Taylor Birch; Sidney Bergman. Dear daughter of Rose Lavigne of Woodstock. Dear sister of Shirley MacArthur of Woodstock and Dale Arsenault (Angie) of Ajax. Eva is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Amy Eldridge of New Brunswick, Marian Tedd, and brothers-in-law; Earl (Sharon) Birch of Kelowna B.C., Albert (Winnie) Birch of Woodstock. Dave (late Rita) Gosse of P.E.I. Predeceased by her in-laws Boyd and Sophie Birch (nee Gallant), sister Theresa MacAusland and sister-in-law Theresa Sullivan. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m., where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Father Richard Dales officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment later in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Holy Trinity Building Fund, or VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
