Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Thursday, December 9, 2010, Mr. George Samuel Snook, age 79 years of Wreck Cove. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Sadie; three step daughters, Cora Sheppard (Stephen) at Boxey, Carol Lawrence (Earl) at Wreck Cove, and Cathy (Douglas Bullen) at Boxey; step son, Roy Blagdon (Josie) at Boxey; ten step grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Melita Sheppard (George) at Wreck Cove; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, Emily and Charles, brother, Harvey, and sister, Eileen. Funeral service was held on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 2:00 pm from All Saints Anglican Church in Wreck Cove with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Wreck Cove.
