Memramcook - Anita Cormier of St-Joseph passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on December 25, 2010 at the age of 83. Born in Lynn, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Philias Cormier and the late Arthémise LeBlanc. She worked for Assumption Life in the accounting department until her retirement. She was a member of Saint Thomas de Memramcook parish choir and l'Aboîteau Choir in Moncton. She is survived by her sisters, Géraldine, Aline and Thérèse all of St-Joseph, one brother, Aldoria (Jeannette) Cormier of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant sister Ella and by her three brothers Arthur, Henri and Yvon.
Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte La Vallée, Memramcook on Tuesday, December 28 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and there will be no viewing before the funeral. Funeral service will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Wednesday, December 29 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
