INGEBORG "INGA" F. MOORE September 28, 1929 - December 26, 2010. Inga passed away to be with her Lord on Sunday evening, December 26, 2010, at Victoria Hospital. Inga was the eldest of four children born to Rudolf and Frieda Wensler at Springside, Saskatchewan. She attended a one room rural school nearby. Inga was a graduate of the School of Nursing at Yorkton General Hospital. She started her working career as a Public Health Nurse for the Prince Albert Health Region and served the area to the south of Prince Albert. During this time she received her Diploma in Public Health from University of Saskatchewan. Inga met Frank at church and they married in 1957. She continued in the Public Health Service until the arrival of their first child. Inga was a stay-at-home mother. Inga then started her career as a volunteer. She was extensively involved in leadership roles at her church, locally and regionally. Initially Inga was involved with Canadian Red Cross in a number of projects; on the Board of Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) locally and national representation; part of the start-up group for "Home Care" in Prince Albert. She was also a leader with Christian Women's Clubs locally and regionally. Inga then moved her interest to the Canadian Cancer Society and had leadership responsibilities locally, provincially and nationally. Her volunteer work has brought recognition with awards such as "Woman of Distinction" in 1996 from the YWCA; Citation of Merit from Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatchewan Centennial Medal Award. Inga is survived by her husband of 53 years Frank; two sons Grant (Dana) with grandson Caleb of Edmonton and Wesley of Prince Albert; two sisters Eyla (Robert) Rogers of Edmonton, Rita J.D. Wensler of Guelph, ON; one brother Kurt (Rita) of Chilliwack, BC; numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada. Inga was predeceased by one son Geoffrey Randall (1962); her parents Rudolf and Frieda Wensler. Celebration of the Life of Inga will take place on Thursday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1351 - 28 Street East, Prince Albert. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of floral tributes donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, First Baptist Church or donor's choice of charity are suggested.
