Passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2011 after a short battle with cancer Elaine Marie Skinner at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 68 years. Left to remember her with love and precious memories her husband William; daughter Stephanie (Perry) Neil; son Dean; sister Louise (Kevin) Hynes; brothers: Richard (Phyllis) McDonnell, Jack (Theresa) McDonnell, Kevin (Gertrude) McDonnell; mother-in-law Evelyn Skinner; sisters-in-law: Loretta (Ed) O'Brien, Josephine (Fred) Fraser, Kay (Ed) Skinner, Elizabeth (Arthur) Summers, Rosetta (Gregg) Cutler, Judy (Bernie) Larkin, Karen (Adrian) Collins, Marion Robertson; brothers-in-law: Kevin (Jean) Skinner, Howard (Ann Marie) Skinner, Jack (Shelly) Skinner; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Zita McDonnell and father-in-law John Skinner. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, St. George's on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish Catholic Women's Guild.
