It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Norma Gaudet announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed by three sons: Wayne of Stephenville, Allan (Brenda) of Fort McMurray, Christopher of Kippens, five daughters: Linda (Joseph) Silivera of London, Ontario, Genevieve (Daniel) Power of Oshawa, Ontario, Patricia Dunphy of Kippens, Alvina (Colin) Young of Stephenville Crossing, Lorraine (Richard) Lydom of Edmonton, two brothers: Earl Gaudet of Kippens, Samuel (Rose) Gaudet of Ajax, Ontario, six sisters: Alvina (Lee) Thomas of Houston, Texas, Edna (Henry) Gaudet of Kippens, Theresa Gaudet of Houston, Texas, Hilda Collier of Whitby, Ontario, Delores (Gerald) Gabriel of Stephenville, Ann Gaudet of Kenmount, Ontario, a large circle of grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred (Willie) Gaudet, her son, Hilary, daughter, Josephine, brother, Wade, sister, Genevieve, brother, Hilary. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday, July 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her memory to the Mental Health Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
