February 6, 1940 - January 20, 2011
On January 20, 2011 Arlene Anderson of Edmonton, formerly of Moose Jaw (Sask.), went to be with her Lord Jesus. Arlene will be forever cherished in the hearts of her children: Don (Shauna) Anderson Jr., Debbie (Rod) Kurtz, Jamie (Heather) Anderson, Jody (Mike) Merrick; 11 grandchildren: Taylor, Jesse, Kyle, Sam, Maya, and Denaye Kurtz; Zachary, Emily, and Jonah Merrick; Matthew and Kendall Evans. Arlene is remembered by her five brothers, six sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Ethel Verity, her brother, Earl Verity, and the father of her children, Don Anderson Sr. A Celebration of Arlene's life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Southside Pentecostal Assembly (2821 - 109 Street, Edmonton). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Minto United Church (1036 - 7 Avenue NW, Moose Jaw, SK). Donations in memory of Arlene may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
