Colins, Ross "Kieth Collins" - 73, of Wards Brook, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at home. Born on the Parrsborough Shore, he was a son of the late Alden and Jessie (Lewis) Collins. Ross served in the 2nd Canadian Guard, spent 25 years raising his family and working with horses in Okotoks, Alta. He returned to Parrsboro in 1982, where he operated the Deli for 25 years with his wife, Ohra. He was a founder of the Age of Sail Heritage Museum in Port Greville, where he served as president for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Ohra Kelly; a daughter, Oralee O'Byrne (Jeff), Wharton; sons, Ross Jr., Port Greville; John (Lynn), Okotoks; grandsons, Kyle, Cory, Warren, Micheal, Richard, James and Andrew; sisters, Marion Lewis, Margaret O'Flaherety; brothers, George (Linda), Paul (Janice), Ken (Claudia) and extended family. He was predeceased by a daughter, Pamie; sisters, Patricia and Freda; brother, Murray. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
