(July 29, 1924 - January 19, 2011) - The passing of Almira Smith of Currie Siding, NB occurred on January 19, 2011 at her residence at the age of 86. Born in South Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Samford and Jessie Johnston. Almira is survived by her husband Allan Smith; children Dolores Manzer (Danny), Kevin Smith (Ethel), Carolyn Mowbray (Larry), Brenda Stacey (Ralph) and step-son John Smith (Diane); 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Dale.
Visiting hours will be at White's Funeral Home 20 Industrial Park St. Perth-Andover on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 1 to 2 pm with funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Interment in the Forest Glen Cemetery later in the spring. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Southern Victoria Cancer Fund or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
