It is with great sadness that the families of Roxanne Elizabeth Lillian Tansley announce her sudden passing at the Captain William Jackson Memorial Hospital in Labrador City, on Saturday, January 29th, 2011, at the age of 45 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Todd Sheppard, her son; Derek Sheppard, her mother; Mrs. Eva Tansley of Deer Lake, N.L., her 4 brothers; Earl (Leona) Tansley of Deer Lake, N.L., Sheldon (Denise) Tansley of Nova Scotia, Trevor Tansley, & Jeff (Lisa) Tansley both of Deer lake, N.L., father in law; Harris (Marie) Sheppard of Labrador City, sister in law; Tracey (Bruce) Colborne of Labrador City, her special nephew; Jamie Sheppard of Labrador City, & her very special friend; Corinne Burton of Labrador City. Roxanne was predeceased by her father; Tom Tansley, & her mother in law; Mrs. Evelyn Sheppard. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L. on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place of Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army church in Deer Lake, N.L., with the Majors: Wayne & Betty Ann Pike officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery at Wight's Road, Deer Lake, N.L. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army Church Organ Fund 20 Church Street, Deer Lake, N.L. In Roxanne's memory would be graciously appreciated by the family.
