Anna "Madeline" Secord, 93 Veteran's Unit, Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton formerly of Chipman, N.B. passed away Tuesday, February 01, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Born in Granville Ferry, Anna Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adelia (Everett) Tabner. She served as a Corporal in The Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII . Madeline was a hairdresser and a homemaker who loved to cook. She was active in the Baptist church choir in Chipman, N.B. She loved and enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Snider, Moncton, N.B.; sons, David (Tammy), New Minas; Vernon (Marie), Whitby, Ont.; grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Adam, Stephen; two great grandchildren, Charles and Finlay. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Harry Lloyd Secord; brother, Russell Tabner.
Funeral service and burial to be held in the spring under the direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook.
