DEWITT, Ruth H. - 79, of Little Forks, Cumberland Co. passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2011 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lakelands, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marie (McAloney) Henwood. She is survived by her children, Allen (Betty Ann), Parrsboro; Charlotte Smith (Bill), Shubenacadie; Arthur (Darlene Rogers), Amherst; Paul (Lisa), Dartmouth; grandchildren; Noah, Allana, Jason, Cory, Joshua, Blake, Christopher; great granddaughter, Chloe; a sister, Sonya Logan (Robert), Tilisonburg, Ont.; special friend, Ron Ernst; aunt, Mary Canning, Parrsboro; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
