KUGLER, Flora Jain – 87, of Annapolis Royal, passed away February 3, 2011 at the Annapolis Community Health Center. Born and raised in Annapolis Royal she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Rose (Doucette) Allen. She is survived by her five children; Frances (Donald) Milbury of Bear River, Judith Guest, Annapolis Royal, Michael Milner, Princedale, James Milner, Dalhousie, and Christine (Michel) Bourgouin of Orillia, ON; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews, and dear Carolyn. She was predeceased by first husband, Murray Milner and second husband, Joseph Kugler; brother, Joseph; sisters, Jean and Annie. She was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom. For many years she worked as a nurse (RNA) in Nova Scotia and Ontario, always treating those she cared for as she would want to be treated. She enjoyed housekeeping and quilting, baking and gardening. During WWII she served in the CWAC in the Provost Corp stationed in Halifax. Grateful thanks to her homecare team especially June King; to Dr. Buchholz and nursing staff at ACHC for their loving and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 12 at 2 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Annapolis Royal, Mr. Aaron Laevens officiated. A private family interment will take place at a later dat. Donations in her memory may be made to the Annapolis Royal Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, or to the Palliative Care Unit at Annapolis Community Health Center.
