Agnes F. (Gaudet) Black, 90, of Spencer Memorial Home, and formerly of Chesswood Drive, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday February 10, 2011. Born in Grand Manan, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Fay (Ingersoll) Monroe. Agnes was a retired self employed hairdresser and a member of Trinity United Church, Riverview. Agnes will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marlene (Gaudet) Lansdale (David) of Riverview; grandchildren, Andrew (Kristin Schnelten) and Jillian, both of Riverview; great grandchildren, Alasdair and Helen; sisters, Thyra, Helen, Mary, Rosalie, Carol and Sylvia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Sifroi Gaudet and Robert M. Black; brothers, Theodore and George; sisters, Alice, Edith, Madeline, Marguerite and stepdaughter, Nancy Black Tingley.
In keeping with Agnes’ wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday February 15, 2011 at 11:00 am, Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
