(Peter) of Brampton, ON and formerly of Moncton, passed away suddenly at Brampton Civic Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2011.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of Norman and Freda (Strayhorn) Thaxter.
Peter’s first love after his family was fishing.
He will be missed by his daughter Laurie; his sons, Dane and Shawn; his sister, Margaret Thaxter James Mead (Mike), Los Angeles, CA; brother Michael, Whistler, BC; brother Ricki (Cricket), Winnipeg, MB.
Predeceased by his parents and his son Norman.
As per Peter’s wishes, there will be no service. Peter was cremated and his ashes scattered on his favourite fishing lake.
