It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Peter Danyluk on January 29th, 2011 of Canora, Saskatchewan, at the age of 85 years.

Peter leaves behind his wife Rose of 18 years, his daughter Marcy Pace (Luigi Sale) of Kamloops, his son Gerald of Kamloops, and his two grandsons Mikkel and Shawn of Kamloops, nine step-children and ten step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Peter is also survived by his youngest brothers: Orest of Winnipeg, two brothers-in-law Peter Kotyk and Victor Cymbalisty of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Peter was the 9th sibling out of 12.

He was predeceased by his brothers: John, Steve, Mike, Bill and Paul and his sisters: Anne Supymuk, Mary Yaremko, Sophie Kotyk, Martha Cymbalisty and Victoria Gurski.

Peter was born in Canora, Saskatchewan on November 26, 1925. He worked on the family farm until he married Nellie Gurski in 1949. They had two children Gerald and Marcy. In 1956 Peter moved his family to B.C., settling first in Westsyde. Soon after he began his career in the Forest Industry working for Frolek's Sawmill up at Trapp-Lake Camp.

His passion in life was fishing and hunting which was just outside the back door. Peter greatly enjoyed the times spent with his children. While living there they attended a country school and met many nice families, with whom together they attended many dances where Peter loved dancing up a storm at the Knutsford Hall.

In 1968 the family moved into Kamloops, still working for Frolek's Sawmill. Peter then worked for Weyerhaeuser Sawmill. At this time Peter was proud of his two grandsons Mikkel and Shawn which he enjoyed motor biking with as a family. After retirement Peter moved back to Canora and later married Rose on September 5, 1992. They enjoyed traveling to see family, gardening and daily coffee outings with their wonderful friends and relatives.
Peter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
