BRUCE, Rose
1926 – 2011

On February 22, 2011 Rose Bruce of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years.
Born on October 26 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan to Mike and Lizzie Budai, Rose was the second child. She spent her teen years in Welland, Ontario, and moved to Prince Albert in 1949 where she worked at Kernigan's Hardware. She was married to Roger Bruce on May 20, 1961. They moved to Edmonton in 1963 where she remained until her passing.
She is survived by her loving husband Roger, daughter Karen (Arthur); siblings, Margaret (Melvin), Edith, Evelyn, and Roy (Mach).She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother Joseph.
A Funeral Service will be held for Rose on Saturday February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard & McBride Westlawn Chapel, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. Help us celebrate Rose’s life by wearing something colorful.
