NICKERSON, Gary Douglas, 55, formerly of Clam Point, C.S.I., has entered into eternal rest. On February 19, 2011 Gary passed away at his home in Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife by his side. Born in Clam Point, May 12, 1955, the son of the late Douglas Fernwood and Leora Kathleen (Lamrock) Nickerson. Gary’s greatest love was his family and friends, also his companion, Dudley, who never left his side. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Malone) Nickerson; children, Wendell (Marla), Gregory, Jerri D’Entremont, Edmonton, Micha Cameron, Barrington; ten grand-children; sisters, Dorothy (Allen) Stuart, Welshtown, Sharon (Paul) Bower, Crowells. Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by brother, Rodney Howard. Gary is now resting at Westlawn Funeral Home, Edmonton, where family and friends will gather to reflect on his life. Cremation is to take place. Gary’s remains will return to Nova Scotia where a celebration of his life will take place at a later date for family and friends.
