It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Les Killoran on March 2, 2011 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home surrounded by family and friends.

Les is survived by his two daughters: Kathy (Randy) of Smithers, BC and Jennifer (Shawn) of Calgary, AB, grandchildren Darcy and Megan and many great friends.

Les was predeceased by his parents Michael and Frieda as well as his brother Gord.

Les was born in Vegreville, AB and spent his teenage years and graduated in Abbotsford, BC. He moved to Kamloops in 1968 and started to work for Auto Marine Electric, moving on to Motor Car Parts and then finally going on his own with L.E.S. Sales. Les was an avid sports player / fan, especially curling. He was a long time member of the North Shore Curling Club, member of the A.C.T. / U.C.T. Club and was also a proud member of Mt. St. Paul Lodge and The Royal Arch Freemasons.

We wish to extend our thanks to the many nurses, volunteers and staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home for the kindness extended to Les's family and for the care given to Les. It was much appreciated.

A Memorial Service to remember Les will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Kamloops Masonic Centre, 351 Nicola Street.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Les to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
