
Jean-Marie Belliveau
The death of Jean-Marie Belliveau, age 51, of Bathurst and formerly of Memramcook, NB, occurred suddenly on Tuesday March, 8th, 2011 as a result of a car accident in Bathurst. Jean Marie was a devoted employee of Josten’s /Life Touch for 26 years and co-owner of DuBel Photo. He also worked in the past for Premier School Agendas in Ottawa. He served as a Bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Moncton for one year and as Branch President in Bathurst for 7 years on a voluntary basis. He was passionate of his family, church and friends. In his leisure time he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife Claudette. He was an avid body builder and an adamant believer of good health. This personal commitment to sustain a healthy outlook was clearly demonstrated as he successfully battled cancer since 2007. Family always came first and he constantly expressed love and affection for his wife and children. He embraced life to its fullest and was always up for an adventure. He always greeted friends with a loving smile and showed genuine love and affection for all he met. He believed in the Stephen Covey’s philosophy “Habits of Highly Effective People”. His favourite saying was, “Seek first to understand before being understood”. Jean Marie was a loving husband and adoring father to his children. He will be sadly missed by his wife Claudette (Dupuis), son Frederick, daughter Gabrielle, one brother Marcel (Montreal) and many relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Rosalie and Gerald Belliveau of Belliveau Village.
His body will be resting at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, N.B., Friday March 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2p.m. at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel.
