1925-2011 - Florence passed away peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care residence on March 14, 2011 at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn her husband for over 66 years, Richard Claire in addition to several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Florence was the sole surviving member of William Penney family of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents William and Emily, brother John, sister Helen and Francis. A retired beauty consultant associated with Revlon Canada, she travelled Coast to Coast promoting Revlon products under the name of Florence of Revlon.
Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at Moncton, New Brunswick.
