The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 19, 2009, of Eric (Windsor) Worth of Murray River, age 82. Beloved husband of the late Jeanette (nee MacDonald) Worth. Windsor is survived by his children Catherine (Kay) Ward (Ray), Parksville, B.C.; Ruth, Murray River, P.E.I.; Brenda Lee Brothers (Gerard), Greenfield, P.E.I.; Danny, Murray River, P.E.I.; and Glen, Merritt, B.C.; and by his grandchildren Erin Ward-Kennedy (Jake), Yellowknife, N.W.T.; Shannon Ward-Douglas (Glenn), Courtney, B.C.; Danielle and Karen Brothers, Calgary, Alberta; Jonathan (Eileen) Brothers, Glencoe, P.E.I.; Matthew Brothers, Greenfield, P.E.I.; and Patrick (Tamara Babony) Brothers, Acton, Ont. Also survived by great-grandchildren Katelyn and Madelyn Brothers, Glencoe, P.E.I.; Conor Brothers, Acton, Ont.; Will Kennedy, N.W.T.; and Isla Douglas, B.C.; sisters-in-law Alena Buchanan, Upper Montague; June McHerron, Riverview Manor, Montague; and Lois MacDonald, Montague. Predeceased by grandparents Phoebe and George (Mom and Pop) Worth, mother Amy (Worth) O’Keefe; stepfather Francis O’Keefe; brothers-in-law Sterling, Elmer, Glen, Willard and John MacDonald, Gordon Buchanan and Laurie McHerron and sister-in-law Kay MacDonald. Resting at the Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home for visiting hours on Friday, July 24, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, July 25, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest United Church, Montague. Interment in the Valleyfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
