March 19, 1958 - March 20, 2011. With tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Prior of Conception Harbour, after a brief battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her husband Johnny Dalton and her parents Jean and Peter. Shirley leaves to mourn her beloved son Michael Dalton and her half brother Pete in Florida and a wide circle of family in Windsor, Ontario. She is remembered with special fondness by the extended Dalton families of Conception Harbour and a large circle of friends in Newfoundland and Ontario. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour. Visitation Tuesday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Anne’s Church, Conception Harbour. Cremation to follow. The family would like to thank those special friends that helped Shirley during her illness.
