ELIZABETH (BESSIE) FERNEYHOUGH ASHE
We, the family of the late Elizabeth (Bessie) Ferneyhough Ashe, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone for their thoughtfulness and kindness during our recent bereavement. Thank you to Mom's home care workers while she was at home, the staff 4 North, Glace Bay General Hospital and the staff of the Cove Guest Home. Special thanks to Patten Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism. We would also like to thank Dr. M Gallivan for the wonderful care he gave Mom while she was at home and Dr. Archibald while she was at the Cove. Our gratitude is extended to Captain and Mrs. Kristian Simms for the uplifting service, to Carolyn MacDonald for the beautiful piano music before and during the service, pallbearers: Jack MacQueen, Frank Lanigan, Kurt Lanigan and Jason Simmons. Thank you to the Home League Ladies for the delicious luncheon. Many thanks to those who called or went online to express condolences, prepared and delivered food, gave sympathy cards, memorials, flowers, attended the visitation and funeral service or came from out of town.
