Although they say each day will make me stronger
I find each day without you a little bit longer
From your Grandchildren
And though I was little when you were taken away

The rough and rugged hugs and kiss
Papa you’re a man we will always miss
From your Sons
The days and nights on the farm working side by side
Make the drives to the field such a long lonely ride
The Man you were is what we each try to be
You taught us all, respect, honor and responsibility
From your Wife
I miss you more each day it’s true
Your smell, your voice and your laughter too
Our life together was what we had planned, now sadly here alone I stand
Your face, your smile and brown eyes still live with me
Someday together again we will be, me alongside my beautiful oak tree
