Passed peacefully away, with her family by her side, at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, Mrs. Florence (Flossie) Gaulton, age 82 years, of Hermitage. Predeceased by her husband, Eli, in 1998; parents, James and Elizabeth Rose; five brothers and three sisters. Left with many loving memories are: two daughters, Ann O’Brien (James) and Evelyn Crewe (Melvin) all at Gander; three grandchildren, Stephen Crewe (Cathy) at Hermitage, Pat O’Brien (Krista) at Gander and Stephanie Loveless (Joey) at Grand Falls-Windsor; one great grand-daughter, Brooklyn O’Brien; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts at Halifax, NS, plus a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Also, left to mourn are her many special care givers at the Nightingale Manor in Gander and the Dialysis Unit at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander; their kindness will never be forgotten. Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 1:00 pm from the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Hermitage with Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Hermitage.
