MORRISSEY, ENID J. “Enie” - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Enid “Enie” Morrissey on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Parrsboro, she was the daughter of the late Burton & Josephine (Sweet) Smith. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 27 years, Robert “Buck” Buckoski; her two sons, Michael (Susan), John (Fay); four daughters, Shelley (Rod Harrison), Marlene (Frank Russell), Ann (Ed Kokojejko), Joan (Jeff Doyle); daughter-in-law, Joanne; four stepsons, Daryl (Debbie), Wally and Donny Buckoski, Tom Dow (Deanna); sisters, Ollie Baltzer, Oromocto; Gertrude Pettigrew, Maynard, Mass.; brother, Charles Smith (Carol), Marlboro, Mass.; grandchildren, Michael, Paige, David, Jimmy, Jonah, Jasmine, Krista, Kelsey, Karlee, Jayde, Brandon, Hanna, Morgan, Jaryd, Madison; great grandchildren, Leona and Halee; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Mike in 1982; her son, James in 2009; sisters, Ellie, Freda, Thora, Frances, Etta, Angela; brothers, Victor, Edward and Burton. A private graveside committal service will be held in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Parrsboro. Enie’s family and friends are invited to gather in the vestry of Parrsboro Baptist Church on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm to celebrate her life.
