We, the family, regret to announce the sudden passing of David on March 28, 2011.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Ernest Parks, Mira Gut, formerly of Boularderie, and Mary Donovan, Sydney Mines.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney, Georges River; sister, Sharon Ann, Boularderie; stepmother, Evelyn; stepfather, Harley; stepbrother and best friend, Scott; stepbrother, Freddy; nieces, Meighan, Laura and Alicia; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister, Laura, paternal grandparents, Daniel and Elizabeth Parks, and his maternal grandparents, Jim and Emma Donovan.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. Burial at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines.
