It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Goldie Mugford (nee Eveleigh) announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, July 28th 2009 at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lindsay (Angie) Mugford & Sidney (Judy) Mugford both of Brampton, Ontario; her grandson; Alex Mugford; her sisters: Mrs. Rita Simms of Toronto, Ontario, Maxine (Mrs. Gary Norman) of London, Ontario & Eileen (Mrs. Simeon Osmond) of Hampden; her brothers: Oswald (Joan) Eveleigh of Brampton, Ontario & Scott (Viola) Eveleigh of Burlington, Ontario; her brother-in-law; Glen Batstone; her special niece with whom she resided Trudy (Rodney Banks), Zachary & Chelsea of Hampden. Mother was predeceased by her husband; Samuel Mugford in 1994, her parents; Robert & Patience Eveleigh, sisters: Mable Snow, Madeline Eveleigh & Daphane Batstone, her brothers: Cecil Eveleigh & Claude Eveleigh; her sister-in-law; Anita Eveleigh, brothers-in-law: Roy Snow & James Simms; her niece; Rosalind Davis & nephew; Dale Batstone. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Pentecostal Church Hampden, today Friday, July 31st 2009, from the hours 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday August 1st 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor: Glen Clarke officiating with the Burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Hampden, NL. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
