Bryan Christopher Landry

Landry, Bryan Christopher – 48, Truro, passed away on April 5, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Ville St. Laurent, Quebec, he was a son of Leslie (Isherwood) Landry, Alberta, and the late Gary Landry.
A nature lover, he enjoyed walking through the trails in the fields, and had been a Scout leader for several years. As a member of the Nova Scotia Wildlife Carvers and Artists Association, his inherited artistic ability shone through in his works. He was proud to be a certified high reach forklift operator. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Bruce Lee, and could also be found at the rink with the other hockey Dads.
Surviving are his wife, the former Pat Rogers; son, Christopher; daughter, Meaghan;
“other kid”, David Crosby; brothers, Robert (Karen), Halifax; Trevor, Truro; paternal grandmother, Frances Landry, New Minas; aunts, Pam Landry, Moncton, New Brunswick; Lynn (Kenny) Cairns, New Minas; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Roy Landry; uncle, Jack Mitchell; aunt, Helen Mitchell.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be Sunday, 6-8 p.m., and funeral will be Monday, at 2 p.m., both in Brunswick Street United, Truro, Rev. David Lutes officiating.
Burial will be in Watson Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Caring for Cancer Patients, Colchester East – Hants Hospice, or a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
